If you can make particular plants flourish under your care, you could find a good gig selling these specialty plants to nurseries and individuals. You can choose to specialize in just about any form of plants- ferns, cacti, orchids, bonsai trees- and develop a reputation as the local go-to guy or gal for these plants. Gain loyal buyers by providing flyers about the care of your customers' new plants and by sending email ads to your mailing list whenever you have a new variety. If you choose, you can grow your plants in bulk and sell them to local nurseries and plant stores. Who says money doesn't grow on trees?

Plants can sell anywhere from $3-$150 per plant for exotic specialties, and you can make even more selling in bulk to nurseries.
