The Idea:
Start a career or business helping others by offering massage services.
How it Works:
Most states require a specific level of education (often 500 hours) and the passing of a test to become a licensed massage therapist. Once you are licensed, you can start your own business or get a job through an already-existing company performing massages. If you choose to strike out on your own, you will have to establish yourself as a business and market your services around town. Some massage therapists specialize in specific types of massage, such as sports massage, maternity massage or Far Eastern techniques.
