The Idea:
Make cash standing on street corners promoting and handing out flyers for local companies.
How it Works:
Companies frequently hire locals to gain attention for and drive business to their location. You've likely seen them, standing on street corners in a gorilla costume or wearing a sandwich board pointing the way to a big sale. Why not get in on the action? You can contact companies directly to inquire about working as a human billboard or can look for an agency, if one is available in your area. If there are no local agencies coordinating this kind of work, perhaps you could start one yourself.
How Much Can You Make:
Human billboard pay isn't very high- usually around $10 per hour. But it could be an easy way to make a little extra cash as a part-time job and doesn’t require any outlay of money to start. If you can organize the entire job yourself, providing signs and costumes, you could charge more.
