Video Game Character-Building - Gig Profile

The Idea:

Earn money playing video games, developing a character to a high level and then selling that character or things your character has acquired.

How it Works:

Some people love playing multiplayer online video games but hate working their way up through weak low-level characters to get to the really fun part. Take advantage of their laziness and your own game abilities to develop desirable characters to high levels and collect in-game items that others might want to buy.

How Much Can You Make:

One New York Times article featured someone who makes $1800 a month playing games like The Sims, Second Life and World of Warcraft and selling the virtual real estate, in-world currency and items he earns through his game play.
