In-Store Demonstrator- Gig Profile

The Idea:

Earn extra cash showing off new products at supermarkets and department stores.

How it Works:

Stores often hire people to hand out samples of new foods, demonstrate new household gadgets or give customers coupons for their latest specials. Some demonstrators are hired directly through stores, others through an agency and some through a company that manufactures a product they want promoted. Look in your local classifieds for ads looking for demonstrators, or contact agencies and stores directly.

How Much Can You Make:

In-Store Demonstrators are often paid by the hour or the day, with most making between $200-1000 for 4-8 hours of work.
