How it Works:
Some people like the idea of being a temporary artistic canvas, especially at events where artistic creativity is celebrated.
Spring break, art festivals, Mardi Gras, science fiction conventions, renaissance festivals and private parties are all venues where body painters can excel.
You can buy special paints made for body painting and can build up a portfolio practicing on your friends.
Live models may be your best advertising, so find a few friends willing to be bodypainted and have them walk around the venue handing out flyers or otherwise directing customers to your booth or shop.
You can choose to use this gig as a single event moneymaker, a recurring once-or-twice a year gig or you could travel around to different events every week for as long as you want.
Facepainting and Henna Painting are other variants of this gig, and you could offer those in conjunction with bodypainting.
How Much Can You Make:
Some bodypainters make thousands of dollars in a single weekend, depending on skill and speed.
