How it Works:
With the right creative idea and a good understanding of how board games work, you could be the creator of the next big board game hit.
The idea is easy, but the implementation might be more difficult. Design your board, pieces and rules carefully, keeping in mind the costs involved to produce each part.
Once you've created a mock-up of your game, test it on friends and family to fine-tune the details.
You can produce the game yourself or try to sell it to an existing company. You'll have to be careful of licensing issues if you want to use already-exisiting characters.
How Much Can You Make:
If you create a game that people enjoy playing, you can earn anywhere from a few hundred to thousands of dollars. Selling it to an established game company will bring you profits quicker, but you may be able to reap more money if you produce it yourself, provided you are good at marketing.
